HOW To Make Idli

Ingredients
Raw rice - 1/2 cup
Par Boiled rice - 1/2 cup
Urad dhal - 1/4 cup
Fenugreek - 1/2 t.Spoon
Bengal gram - 2 t.spoon
Cashew nuts- 10
Badam - 10
Ginger- small piece
Green chilli - 3
Dates fruit
salt to taste
Oil as required


Method
Clean and soak rice and urad dhal for 1 hour.


Grind it coarsely with fenugreek.


Add salt and leave it undisturbed for 4 hours.


Then heat oil in a pan and season it witn urad dhal, bengal gram, chopped ginger, Green chilli, cashew nuts and badam.


And add it to the batter.


Grease the idli moulds with oil and pour in the batter. .
Steam for about 20 minutes and then demould as you would a regular idli.
Serve hot with chutney / sambhar.
